The book explores the movie's key questions and themes, including how we can tell if we're dreaming or awake, how to make sense of a paradox, and whether or not inception is possible. It also gives new insights into the nature of free will, time, dreams, and the unconscious mind. In addition, it discusses different interpretations of the film, and whether or not philosophy can help shed light on which is the "right one,' and deepens your understanding of the movie's multi-layered plot and dream-infiltrating characters, including Dom Cobb, Arthur, Mal, Ariadne, Eames, Saito, and Yusuf.

He says at that when you die in limbo you go one level up, but at the start of the film when Cobb and Arthur were trying to extract information from Saito, the moment Arthur died in the dream the dream collapsed. So if in the end Cobb and Saito killed themselves in Limbo and the other dreamers were already back to reality doesn't that mean that those level of the dreams have collapsed therefore Cobb and Saito would have been shot up to reality? (Because those levels have already collapsed)

I'm a little confused about something. There's a difference between Cobb and Saito's, Cobb and Mal's, and Fischer and Ariadne's exits from limbo. Saito, Mal, and Cobb (twice) kill themselves, whereas Fischer and Ariadne actually ride the kicks up the levels. I don't know if I'm mistaken, and if I'm not, I don't know what that really means in the context of the movie, but I think that's something worth noting.
