  • DRINK FOUR LOKO!

  • DRINK MALT LIQUOR!

  • @BeerGeekNation

It is said that the monks of Westy once shared their recipe with the folks at St. Bernardus, that explains why it tastes so similar.

  • Lol @ pronunciation.

  • @sector69102 I think the 2nd of "2" beers that he got a hold of was reserved for a solo drink, dont u? teehee

  • pre hat days & what a song! A year or so later does your review of * A or A +s * still hold up ! ? !

  • 3 guys one beer ;)

  • @BeerGeekNation the st bernardus is the same recipe than the westvleteren with a different water.

  • @BeerGeekNation I just had me some Westy 8 and I was BLOWN AWAY. It's a thing of unspeakable beauty. I actually thought it was far superior to St. Bernardus (which, in turn, is much better than Rochefort 10 IMO). I have a bottle of Westy 12 in my fridge, but I won't crack it open until I have a St. B 12 along so I can taste them side by side. They're probably going to be very similar as you said. I think out of the entire bunch, Westy 8 will remain my favorite, what with its lower alcohol level.

  • @BeerGeekNation I've had the St Berny before and it was really damn good, but it didn't surpass my beloved Chimay Bleue. I'm asking this because I have never had West 12 before, but I've always heard very specific comparisons of it with either Rochefort 10 or St Bernardus 12, not anything else. I'm awaiting a shipment of Rochefort 8 and 10, but I didn't like the 6. Hopefully Rochefort 10 will not taste anything like the 6, which I found too "overripe" for my taste.

  • @AlvinHDavernport St Bernardus 12 is really damn close to Westy 12. And I do mean really close.

  • Which beer approaches the Westy 12 best in your opinion, guys? The Rochefort 10 or the St. Bernardus 12?

  • @hellemanssven

idd wat was dat voor een manier wtf?!

  • These guys are extreme novices, but nice video.

  • @killadelphiaHC St Bernadus 12 is an epic beer as a matter of fact I would say its just as good as Westy 12. Ive actually not had anything from Achel but all of the Rochefort stuff is spot on as well!
