This modification can be made to all EVOs, but probably HAS to be made to Cricket flashed EVOs in order for Youtube and other multimedia sources to work on 3g.

Sprint by default routes media through their servers. To change this dial ##data# from the dialer on the Evo. You will get to the EPST settings. Click edit and then enter the MSL. It will prompt you for a password which is the MSL aka SPC.

Once you get past that, go to advanced, RTSP Proxy Address. Make this 0.0.0.0. Also make the HTTP PD Proxy Address 0.0.0.0. Back out and you should be good. If you hit commit modifications, you might get an error.

Hay I have the $55 plan on my evo and I did the same thing u did but how long should it take to work? ???????

@cockandbustceo Either one will work, but the 45 plan takes more steps to get it to work. Please refer to the EVO thread in the forum.

If you look in the forum I think someone talked about it. In my experience you can't get the Market on 3g with a PayGO account.

i have the 2 dollar a day plan with cricket and i have talk text and web but i cant connect to android market. do i have to update to the 45 or 55 dollar plan to get the data for the market?
