Didn't I just speak about Goalie fights last week? And yet two Goalies again go at it! This time they wrestle and NO PUNCHES ARE THROWN IN THE FIGHT! WTF NHL! Also, Fedor Emelianenko loses to Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva in his second loss ever, also in a row, and contemplates retirement.

NBA All Star Weekend has released its Celebrity Basketball roster and they should be ashamed, while Brazil loses to France in the Brazil Cup and players go after the refs.

Sacha is a clown and it's funny how he's still not relevant. Latest news on him was about him cheering on his girlfriend lol. She's more important in sports than he is.

Soccer is taken very seriously overseas, but not much here in the states unless it's the world cup. You'll have some places support their local teams, but that's about as far as it goes. When they riot over the game, it makes me realize the basic fight you see in sports is nothing. Yet the media makes it more than what it really is. I can only imagine how they would react if there were riots, like fans do in soccer.

Yeah, but Butler was quite consistent in maintaining his ability to play.

But you are right, Howard brings a lot more to the table.

  • @SickBritKid

Exactly, he was explosive. And you need that at times when your team is looking sluggish, to give them life.

  • @EventStatus

    You're not the only one.

I kinda agree, because Butler was an experienced vet. But Howard, I guess, has a lot of talent that the Mavs wanna exploit so that way we'll have some explosive playing that'll take us all the way.

  • @SickBritKid

Yeah, you guys have done well staying afloat. I didn't like the trade for Butler giving away Josh Howard, I felt Howard brought more to the table, but that's just my opinion.

  • @EventStatus

I agree. Still, you have to admit we've done quite well with the Mad German at the helm.

What we need, though, is a TEAM. Nowitsky's great, but he's no Michael Jordan. He can't carry us to an NBA Title.

That's why I'm glad that we've gotten ourselves a solid roster, with guys like Kidd and Terry to back him up. Even though some of our better players are injured, I've got high hopes for the Mavs so long as they play as a TEAM.

  • @SickBritKid

Dirk hasn't led you guys to a title yet. He's not a bad player, but I expect more from since he's the focal point of your team.

  • @EventStatus

    I agree.

Still. The Mad German is the Mad German. You gotta give him that much credit.

    :P

  • @SickBritKid

Dirk plays too soft for me. A big as he is, he should be taking more shots in the paint.
