A few days on the job with Squad 4A! - Squad 4 the only Heavy Rescue in the City of Atlanta. Responds to all structure fires, rope rescues, entrapments, hazmat, confined space, trench and collapse all video by Jeff Chaffin Squad 4 A.

See that flasover at 0:33 i love being a firefighter....Theres just something about risking you life for others cause you know your the last line of defense.Im sure our heroic troops can relate to us...

Its back in service now just for an iso rating, staffed with 2 firefighters, it is only called to a call if it is needed, I wish they would start that truck back up, good gig!

Those were the good old days. You won't see too much of this in the City anymore. There are a few Great firefighter left in the City of Atlanta but only a few.

It is running with two guys on it at all times and responds with eng. 8. Hoping that it is back in service in July.

This was made with a handheld sony and carried. It was put in a large ziploc and taped at the lense to protect it.

Thanks, no it is handheld Sony HC38 using a wide angle lense. The helmet camera really sux. I had one and got about 10 sec of good video in 10 Hrs. of footage. So if want a good picture, get a handheld and stick it in a ziploc with a wide angle lense and tape around the wide angle lense, it works great as you can see. Stay safe and good luck.
