These products were banned in the US last year. It had to do with some children swallowing some of these magnets, which caused perforated intestines and required surgery resulting in the loss of some of their intestinal tissue.

What gets me is that these are NOT kids toys, and were never meant to be kids toys. There's a ton of other things kids shouldn't' swallow either that would even be more harmful...
