It's pretty obvious that Dave sings most of the songs - he is, after all, the singer for the band (except for a few). It's also obvious here that Dave loves attention, probably offended by the girl's question and is acting out. I agree with other posters he's acting real high. Martin's personality has always been an enigma to me and is soooo not what he appears. A real chameleon.

Very clear that both Dave AND Martin are both completely bombed out of their heads! Dave seems drunk or stoned (or both) and Martin seems like he's on coke or speed or something! Hazy days in the band....wonder if this was before or after Alan's bout of kidney stones...

@depmode1012003 Hey, this is Alicia again - sorry for the delay in responding to your reply of about 2 years ago!!! Yeah, I still remember this interview and as much as it's fun to watch it, I can't kept cringing at my stupid question. We had 5 minutes warning that we were meeting them and my mind went blank. Martin was a jerk before the live taping so when he answered the way he did I was just deflated. Yes, Dave was totally high, and Alan was such a gentleman - he knew I was nervous!
