  • We can get into the "whose performance is better" thing . . . I'll skip that discussion. I played the piece 39 years ago, and very much appreciate this posting of Graffman's interpretation. Highlight of this one would be when he absolutely RIPS into the thing at 7:12. Flames musta been leaping off those fingers. Exciting stuff here , folks.

  • Certainly one of the finest interpretations of the music. Sensitive with controlled aggression where appropriate.

  • Yes I agree; he keeps the structure quite intact in my opinion.
