While commie "Barry" Obama and the leftist Democrats busy themselves deconstructing (Stalin-style) America's "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness", it is a good moment of relief to watch the in-the-tank-Liberal-media heads explode over Rush Limbaugh's amusing, uplifting, and heart-felt closing speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) 2009. Mr. Limbaugh was also the recipient of "The Defender Of The Constitution Award", a framed and mounted document signed by Benjamin Franklin. (Benjamin Franklin was a founder of America, for those of you who came from today's teach-nothing-America public schools).

In similar vein, Glenn Beck's interview with Anne Coulter took amusing, uplifting, and heart-felt pot-shots at those wacky and evil Democrat hatch-men and their media. This, from Fox News -- "fair and unafraid":

BECK: "A network-that-shall-not-be-named was running all day today the Rush Limbaugh stuff. And over and over and over again. And they're saying 'is this the face of the new Conservative?'. I listened to this speech and I heard the network coverage on the other not-to-be-named network, and it was some of the most hateful stuff coming out of [that network], that 'these people are hateful', etc., etc. I didn't hear anything that was hateful in [the speech]. I mean I heard sarcasm and comedy."

COULTER: "In fact, I'll give you a couple of points on that. One was when the network-that-will-not-be-named checked with a really, kind-of moronic commentator, Bill Schneider, who they treat as Socrates, over at the station-that-won't-be-named. He comes on and gives his analysis of Rush's speech and said 'but he's so angry', 'he had such an angry tone', 'he was so angry'. Okay, as he's saying that, right next to him was running the video of Rush Limbaugh talking -- he's laughing, he's smiling, he's joking. It was like a [comedy] sketch from the old 'Half-hour News Hour'."

COULTER: "This [Liberal media] obsession 'is Rush our leader', 'is Rush our leader'. I finally figured out why that bugs me so much. Power, right-wing and Conservative power, has always bubbled up from the bottom. You. Rush Limbaugh -- came out of a very strong legal family; goes on radio; gets fired; gets fired; gets fired. Free Republic -- just some guy out in California. Joe The Plumber. It's always been bottom up. NOT with the Democrats. Oh, no. They have a Nazi collaborator, literally, international financier George Soros funding their phony grass-roots organizations. So they look at Rush and say 'who's funding you?'. Well, Rush Limbaugh is funding Rush Limbaugh." (laughter)

BECK: "And, Rush, you can fund me as well."

  • Corporations are not monolithic. They support liberals, Democrats, Republicans and conservatives. Unions are overwhelmingly liberal and Democrat. Corporations give millions to liberal groups.

  • @grinch6338 I hear people on the right do this all the time- they try to equate pernicious corporate influence with small, shrinking groups on the left, like unions.

Go do some research dude- you will find that you are comparing an elephant to a fly.

Corporations spent BILLIONS on the last election cycle.

    Unions spent millions.

And yet, to you, they are the same.

I smell a right wing partisan who frames reality to suit his own preconceived, erroneous, ideas.

  • @grinch6338 Well lets see there was death panels, more taxes on small business, Obama care increasing the deficit, the one you sited increase taxes on people making less the 250 K, did Fox cover the store about 85% of the political adds on TV being labeled untruthful by Fact check.Org. when truthfulness has no value how can Americans elect good leaders?

  • @InvestigatorDave......Forget it..........c'mon Investigator Dave, we all know liberals always rise up the hard way from nothing. Just ask Ted Kennedy.

Seriously, even our own President was obviously handpicked and chosen to run. How is that accomplishing anything? Um, a junior Senator with hardly a modicum of political experience, 0 business experience and 0 achievements other than a law degree rises to the Presidency basically overnight? Yeah, great story.....I'm so touched and inspired.

  • @Rich1598 ...........Provide an example. What lie? Here we go again.....Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction so he could seek revenge for his father, or to take over their oil fields? Your a moron like the rest of them. Sorry.

How about identifying a real lie, such as "the middle class wont' see any new tax increases under my Presidency." Yup buddy, Obama and the democrats dont' lie. Clueless Fool

  • @tristramshandy3 ....I ask you about the lack of discourse, which you brought up, and you talk about those evil corporations? I hate to break it to you, but special interest groups, including Unions and corporations and all other lobbyists groups have ALL bought off our politicians. Wow, you mean you didn't realize we actually are governed by a Pluralism and we are not a Republic? Obviously. But to equate republicans with "those evil corporations" like liberals do is flat out stupidity.

  • @grinch6338 corporations have taken over our republic. They own our representatives, and the media, which they use to keep most Americans uninformed and scared.

    Have a nice day.

  • @tristramshandy3.................what national discourse? You mean like the discourse that was had with the health care bill between democrats and the republicans? Or the open discourse and dialogue the Federal government has with the people?

Just curious....what discourse were you referring to? Seems like those in power right now have no appetite for any discourse whatsoever. So, I beg your pardon for finding your comments quite humorous.

  • @EsClayWilson......if your reffering to details about what facts they don't provide, well there are a million. But I didn't really have a point to make with my comments. Just providing an opinion.

Everyone hating on Glenn Beck needs to be careful. Is he a profiteer like many of us.....of course. But that doesn't mean he is not genuinely concerned for his Country. You can choose to ignore reality all you like, but our Federal Gov is absolutely out of control. They are a big, big problem.
