What would've happened to Matt Hughes if he fought Light heavyweights? If there wasn't a welterweight and middleweight division in the UFC than nobody would even know who the fuck Matt Hughes was.

Sakuraba is not the greatest because of his win-loss record. No. There are a lot of better fighters with better records BUT there is no one with the combination of showmanship, class, technique, heart, quality wins, quality loses, longevity, and all out guts. The guy fought anyone, anytime, anywhere. No one was too big or too small or too whatever. He fought um all. Sometimes he won sometimes he lost. Whatever. He always brought 100%. 1st class athelete.
