that is right calgary flames was Oct 9 1980 also last game at omni was apr 12 1980 vs New yotk rangers game 5 crowd of 11,000 are so for last stanley cup playoffs here.

Good to see Turnbull get involved. I read years ago where Tiger Williams said Turnbull was a 'floater' who could have put up even bigger number if he worked at it, but also that he was one tough S.O.B.

This may not be the right thing to say, but watching these old donnybrooks kind of makes me wish the refs had been punched out a few times. Seriously, how sick is it to watch one idiot ref -- time and again -- dive into a fight and pin one guy's arms so the other guy could just feed him shots in the middle of a mele? Ridiculous!
