@molerox123 Don't know what the actual chords are, but you can figure it out easily. Just grab 3 or 4 chords (with power chords it's easier) and if the chord progression sounds ok, then you try to go from the root notes to higher ones (usually 1 on each string). It's not that hard. The sweep picking part is. :D

Those arpeggios are reminding me of hotel california :L.
-
@cjscanlon0205 Nope! Super easy! We are both playing the same arpeggio each time, just different starting points.
-
@GalanNorman omg now i understand how people do this i've always thought that the harmony was some rediculous nonsense pattern since the melody is an arpeggio
-
@GarrettX1991 ummm, the harmony is a little more complicated than that, but at the same time it is pretty simple. We are both playing the same chord at the same time, but If I start on the root note, he might start on the 3rd, meaning my next note would be the third and his would be the 5th, then mine would be the 5th and his would be the root. So in that manner we end up using major/minor 3rd, P4th, and P5th harmonies depending on the point in the progression. Does that make any sense?

Is the harmony up a 3rd?

Yo, im writing a concerto using just guitars, a guitar symphony if you will..its going to be very neoclassical, would you mind telling me what arpegios or whatever that was? I'd love to to add it in.
