I would much prefer a white man be presiding over our currently failing country than a black man. We got into this economic mess with white men at the helm. Nobody thinks its a "new day" because blacks voted for a bi-racial candidate. Its because the fact that America is predominantly white didn't prevent a bi-racial candidate from winning and therefore indicates that at least some racial barriers have been overcome.
