This music (along with traditional Christmas songs) is so much more beautiful than the stuff played in American shopping malls and on the radio.

Seeing as this was written before Pachelbel's Canon D I am tempted to thing there may have been some rippage going on here. Pachelbel's Canon D sounds a little too much like parts of this for comfort. I think he stole it from Corelli. Anyway I never liked Canon D much anyway. It is a little too precious Kenny G'ish for my taste.
