Download Blue Cat Audio's free Frequency Analyzer plugin:
http://www.bluecataudio.com/Products/Product_FreqAnalyst/

A Frequency Analyzer gives you a visual representation of the frequencies within a specific audio signal. The frequency appears on the horizontal axis, and the amplitude is displayed on the vertical axis. This tutorial explains how to use Blue Cat Audio's free Frequency Analyzer plugin to help balance your final mix.

  • nice vid.

would this work on windows? if so, what plug in fl studio?

  • @Bertskees1 Hi, thanks for watching! You can get a VST version of the Blue Cat Audio Frequency Analyzer which will work with FL Studio. You can find a link to the download in the video description of the video.

  • Good video with good intension, the only problem is that he put the EQ AFTER the analyzer and in this demo it will not show the result of the EQ on the analyzer...I can tell he was surprised to see the the low end was still as loud as before. Use this tool, but use your ears as well.

  • Naw man u want mac rtas. I have downloaded the blue cats bundle in the past and the first thing I tried was the freq analyzer and it was really insufficient and even made pt crash when i had it on one of the master inserts. Has anyone else experienced this. I'm on mac 10.5.8 4gb ram 2.4 dual core. P T 8.0.3cs1

  • Hi @dmoates420

Thanks for the feedback. We haven't experienced any problems with the Blue Cat Frequency Analyzer. Works like a charm. We're running PT8 on MAC OSX 10.5 as well.
