Similarities between Felidae and Lion King battle sequence

I was watching Felidae, a fascinating animated movie NOT meant for children (Voilence, gore, guts, a LOT of sexual reference.. a very graphic film but with a fascinating story about murder, a vicious sect of over religious cats called the Claudandus Sect.. but I will say no more. You all know what Lion King as about.

Anyway, the final battle in Felidae actually reminded me a lot of the final battle in Lion King.
Of course Felidae actually shows blood (Which I like) and has, in my mind, a much more in depth plot that makes you think more (A mystery..mysteries are supposed to be like that) of course Lion King couldn't be as voilent, meant for sighting by young audiences.

Watch and tell me what you think. I think it's probably cooincidence, but you must admit the fight scenes are similar.

I didnt find Felidae Confusing at all!

Claudandas was trying to take all the cats breed back to the origonall state!

He would try to talk to the cats before killing them to confront them on his point of view on the fact that they are all going to change due to naturally selected breeding and that it will take them back to their origins!

I love that movie, I didn't find it confusing either, though I've watched it lots of times now, and you notice something new each time you watch it

Honestly, that's hardly fair. Francis fought in a house, Simba on pride rock. It's a fire. And that's how all felines fight.

Felidae and TLK are great, but Felidae confused me a little. xD

It wasn't meant to put down either movie. I just noticed that there were similarities. They were made during the same year, halfway across the world from eachother, so it is, as I said, probably just cooincidence. ^^

this movie came out after beauty and the Beast by disney but I couden't help but notice in Francis first dream when the facless man was pulling him in to hell when he was gripping onto the bored he had the skull pupils like the villian from B&tB lol

I love how you cut the footage so that RIGHT after you see Claudandus getting eviscerated, it jumps to Simba turning away as if in disgust.

In a way Scars death is a little more (understatement brutal. Claudanus has his stomach ripped open, but Scar is attacked and possibly eaten alive by Hyenas while a fire is consuming him. Talk about a slow and painful deathXD
