I think Mercedes, because she has ascended to the throne at a young age, had to hold an authoritive voice; at the beginning of Mercedes' story she has a much lighter tone compared to later on signifying her assuming the role as queen :)

Well, they do stress on the syllables since the old tongue tends to do that. It's got more of a medieval flair that way. :/
I don't mind their voices too much in the English. The Japanese voices are great, but it's hard to hear what they're sayiing sometimes.

I prefer Japanese Voices O_o

Has anyone noticed that this is the second time Oswald has died, the first times was in his book.

I do agree that the English voices over-pronounce every syllable--I also prefer the Japanese dub, it's much more dramatic, though they don't put much effort into it.
....Especially Oswald. But i suppose that Mercedes' older voice suits, as fairies are supposed to live for a LOOOONG time, I guess you'd still look young despite your age... maybe that has some connection to their voices?
Meh..

Wow...it sounds so...WEIRD in English. I have mine on Japanese. And Mercedes sounds so..OLD when she's still kind of young...I'm on Mercedes now^^ And you don't fight Gwendolyn when playing Mercedes. It's only for Gwendolyn's story.

I'm on Mercedes' story now (she's third) and I do wonder how this fight will go when you're playing as her...
