Nola Baby Grand Reference (£42,995) - National Audio Show 2009, Whittlebury Hall, Towcester, UK

Not to be outdone on the size/price front Artisan Audio brought along the so-called Baby Grand speakers from Nola. These stand 1.57m high and have a totally open baffle for four alnico magnet-powered midrange cones and four ribbon tweeters. Only the two 9in magnesium bass drivers get a cabinet behind them. The Xtreme passive crossover is housed in a separate but equally shiny veneered box.

I agree with cuallito, even in this youtube video you can hear how high a level this system is performing at. Very clean, open sound and that symbal hit sounds so nice and liquid. No harshness at all.

i am truly amazed by the sound of these speakers. they are to die for. i had to put on my best headphones. the cough was so realistic through my headphones i thought my brother next to me was the one that coughed. very nice mic!
