useless indeed, only work in studio or somewhere with permanent setup. you need
(1) a computer hooking to the camera
(2) a camera, off course!
(3) a router
(4) iphone or ipad

you can actually set up a computer to computer (ad-hoc) network on the mac. once set up, the iphone will see it from in the Wi-Fi
