My dad, Larry Chinery (1932-2011), loved his karaoke days at The Beer House in Cincinnati in the early 2000s. He was often referred to by J.P. Richardson's moniker "The Big Bopper" because my dad loved to sing J.P.'s "Chantilly Lace".
This is a clip from his appearance on "Lights, Camera, Karaoke!" on May 15, 2001.
Hey Chip, sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Great video, ya gotta love Larry/The Big Bopper! Now I know where you get it from, you're a Chip off the ol' block! (Pun intended) I'd add some kind of smiley face thingy here but I don't like 'em.
