LET'S SHOW IKE TURNER OUR LOVE

Ike Turner and his son are great musicians and singers. My son, Steve Robison, Jr. is a great songwriter! I have written some nice stuff, too. Ike tells me and Steve Jr. that soon some of our songs will be on an upcoming album. All we can do is take the man on his words. Steve Jr. and I always end our conversations with Ike by saying we will pray for him. He says he always appreciates that. It's about time the world forgives Ike for his past. The Major of St. Louis is afraid honoring Ike for his musical contributions to music in St. Louis will send the wrong message to the children; however, the wrong message is not that but, rather, that we "never forgive" and "once bad, always bad". Help us help Ike. I hope we can get him to be a part of A GREAT BIG FAMILY!

If he did beat her, I am sorry she had to live through it, but people so dumb things. She forgave him so why can't everyone else. This situation has overshadowed his musical talents which is a disgrace.

I wish I could of met him because he influenced many musicians and I love dancing to his songs.

RIP Ike Turner.

At least there is a few people who have enough decency and morals and common sense to have something good to say about your wonderful music skills.

I am a huge Tina Turner fan. I love her music. But I will not put down Ike Turner because he has some great music!!!

I am 17 and I listen to Ike and Tina Turner all the time. I wasn't there to see him beat her, therefore I refuse to speak about that. But I will say that his music was underrated. He has so many great songs, such as Baby Get It On and You Got What You Wanted back in the 60 and 70's. And he was a helluva guitar player.

Ike was ready to go he told me two days before that he felt that he was about to leave. He was ill and the bigger demon took it's toll on him he was tired of the drugs! He didn't want to die he wantd to LIVE! It was his time to go and his death was well orchestrated as the band played spiritual hyms as Ike was breathing his last breath I tried to give him CPR but it didn't help! Ike died surrounded by his true friends and family but most importantly Ike made peace with the Lord!

Ike Turner was a great musician. No matter what his personal life was. We were not their so none of us really know what happened with him and Tina Turner. None of us are perfect. I am not condoning his behavior I am just saying we were not there. If he is not known for anything he should be remembered for that he discovered Tina. If nothing else what a treasure that was. Thanks for the post. I guess all of our lives are so squeky clean.

ike knew he fucked up. tina didn't mess up his career by making the movie if he was as good as a musician like people say everyone would've overlook what he did ppl make fun of tina but she's paid she made more money by herself than with ike.ike knew he had something good he should've never did her wrong even the ikettes and the band members mentioned in an interview that tina was hit with belts pots pan and iron the whole time they was together.tina loved ike but enough was enough

Ike's music will forever be overshadowed by what he did to Tina,and you know what?It should!Ike messed up a good thing.Tina was the best thing to ever happen to him,and he screwed it up.He was a vicious,and cruel bastard,that should be rotting in hell,as I'm typing this.

The Greatest contribution Ike gave to the music world,was adding Tina to his show.
