Im a domestic guy first and formost but i give props to the 4g63 its an amazing little motor,brent raus eclipse made 1400 fly wheel hp and turned high 6s, enough said.

Sick, sick, SICK!.... LOL @ 3:04, it looked like the camera man was about jump into a bush to get out of that beast's way!!... Its very hard to predict where a car with that much power is going to go if you loose control. Unbelievable car!

@someguy3890 Come on man. That is like a Camry is Domestic because its made in Kentucky. This motor and awd platform were around in 1987 on a Galant vr4 in japan. Because its Japanese just made in america.

It is RWD. With the engine configured this way they can mount it to one of several GM transmissions which can be built to reliably handle 2-3000, or even more hp. Aside from being stronger, it is also lighter this way. The transmission sits right behind the engine and goes straight through to the drive shaft then back to the axle.
AWD wouldn't really provide any kind of advantage to this car.
