The first flight of the weekend on the race course and the first test flight of the wing cam. The conditions turned out good so after the familiarization laps Dave decided to make a timed qualifying run.
We watched the video as soon as the Polar Bear returned to the pit and we were all surprised and happy with the results. I mean, $95, an old piece of aluminum, a couple bolts, a bit of foam and we had a cam on the outside of the aircraft that didn't cause drag. How cool is that?
