You're very sweet... thanks for the video, my wife is a great passenger but doesn't like lane splitting. I'll forward this to her... great talk.

It is safer to lane share than to be in dead stopped traffic.I would not want to be rear ended on a bike.. Statistically, most accidents occur from drivers turning left in front of the on coming motorcycle, Keep the shiny side up!

Thanks for your video. I'm the administrator of the CMSP. I have a couple of tips for your views:

If his riding scares you DO NOT ride with him! You will live longer.

If his lane splitting sacres you, he is probably doing it wrong.

See our guildlines at: chp.ca.gov Search 'lane splitting '

This video is geared towards new and novice female passengers. Most ladies are afraid when she experiences lane sharing for the first few times. Women also need to know the difference between What just might be scaring them and an unsafe rider. Not the same thing. I do advise my gals to find another ride home,if the rider is riding in an unsafe manner. Thanks for dropping by!

thank you for this video. my husband of 13yrs and myself are taking a 4hr ride tomorrow. I've only been on a couple of time because it scares me! however I want to share this with him. the leaning thing stuff helped a lot. I tend to the bad thing of fighting corners because I get so nervous about leaning or not. my husband told me to just do what he does...easier said than done lol. hope I have a fun and safe ride:)

Thanks for stopping in and watching. I did an unofficial poll on this topic several months ago on a biker website and the consensus was by all the riders, to just relax and let your rider do the work. Trying to fight the bike is dangerous. You should naturally flow with the ride. Kinda like slow dancing. If you do get a little nervous, try to concentrate on something else, your breathing, a song in your head, count backwards from 100 til the feeling passes. Let me know how it goes!

Great video! I've always said to my pillions that them leaning the bike while I'm riding is like them pulling the steering wheel while I'm driving in the car!

Three things on your first date not to be afraid to ask ..are you warm enough...are you tired...and do you have to pee..lol Here in the Northeast wearing a heated suit can put the passenger to sleep. The weather changes quickly as the sun starts to go down. .After lunch etc. a long haul can be uncomfortable if you have a weak blatter...;)
