Why hire a British comedy legend n get him to pretend hes jus nutha ten a penny american ?? Surley his character would be more interesting been a failed Brit actor who moved to tha US yrs ago for work ,like most brit actors do,and has ended up in nowhereville usa .That way you wouldnt be wasting Steve coogans talent ..hes a fkn genius jus leave him to it n hes a zillion times funnier than anyting a team of wriers can come up with....go watch 'Im Alan Partridge' all seasons in order - Brilliant

I taught theatre at a public high school in Alabama. (You should burn in artist hell, Pell City High)! We received no funding. I actually had to rehearse Shakespeare in the lunchroom, and they made us share a gym with the basketball team during their practices. Imagine shouting lines from "Midsummer Nights Dream" while people are dribbling their freakin' basketballs. It was a nightmare!

yeah his accent wasn't really up to snuff - and he would know that.. but it was funny and it does go some pretty wild places.

I enjoyed the film but I think it would have been way funnier if Steve Coogan did it with his normal voice and style of delivery.
