Trey nails Tom's tone.

@TheCavern2009 Sorry, I love Phish but I will not even suggest that a gifted jazz musician would not be able to play their music. Food for thought; John McLaughlin played for Miles Davis. Let us not make this beautiful thing we call music that has been a source for enjoyment for thousands of years a competition.

@jaysharpwilliams ok maybe on dirt but YEM.....let me see high school cover that

@jaysharpwilliams Conversely, music is not and should not be a competition. Especially amongst the listeners. As Phish expresses here it is actually a camaraderie amongst fellow musicians that keeps music playful and authentic.

@TheCavern2009 Actually it would be pretty easy for any standard jazz band (even high school) to cover a Rage or Phish song for that matter as there are only three instruments in Rage and four in Phish. Easily I say Miles Davis would and could; it would only take three of the many members in his band. Listen to Tribute to Jack Johnson. Just Saying...

I was on the floor, 6th row(ish). You should seen everyone's faces melting when they realized that Rage was coming...incredible energy. I've never been a part of something so magical!
