My Tropical Garden in the sunny and warm city of Sherman Oaks California in the San Fernando Valley, Los angeles County. Temp 45-80 in the winter time and 50-110 come Summer time. I grow 14 different trees from Apples Lemons Oranges Avocado Apricot and Plum, I also have Nectarine and Grapefruit trees not shown in this video. I love my garden it is the center of out family, we like the outdoors, the garden looks different every season, and in the Spring the garden at it's best. Every year we collect lots of fruits from each tree! even the smallest one produces.. so we never short on lemons, Avocados in the season, and eat alot of oranges in the winter. we juice the fruit mix it for the baby and serve to the guests who already knows what's available according to the season. We Jam the fm eat them fresh and stil have enough to give to family and friends.. we also grow our own vegetables as you can see in this video. we grow String beans tomato, onion, red and green bell pepper, thyme, parsley, Cilantro, Cauliflower, Artichoke, Jalapenos hot pepper, Lettece, mint, rosmary, chives and more.
please enjoy the video, music by The Electric light orchestra. suitable to the time of day this video was filmed and the magic light through the trees. I enjoy working for hours every week in the garden and there is allot to do! , I like to say that I have a "Green Thumb"
Enjoy the video and please feel free to send me your questions or comments. Be well!

  • cute. I am in california & have the same fruit trees as you and much more! along with 6 large 4x8 garden veggie beds & a newly added 2x8 herb bed. Isn't gardening so much worth it to have your own food?! I like to see other peoples' edible yards, thanks for posting it. keep up the good work!

  • We did put a 4x10 bed in the springtime and it is already crowded with peppers tomatos, onions and artichokes..it is the best! Gardening is like working hand by hand with God, he creates we plant and water he warms and cares..and the outcome is a combined work...a creation...thanks for the nice words! May god bless us all!
