This is a transistor AM-FM radio made in 1972 by the Panasonic Corporation of Japan, and it belonged to my grandparents on my fathers side of family.
I picked up the sound with web-cam microphone, and it does not do justice to the the sound of this radio at all!!...I know many web-cam Mics are not of studio quality, but this Logic-tech Mic does not even seem to be amateur, portable cassette recorder quality either, and it only gives a glimpse of how the radio sounds...I had the radio set at a local FM station playing Classical-Instrumental songs, and the volume was set just loud enough to hear, not at overload like it sounds through the Mic, and the settings showed just below 0 threshold on the peaks, but the Mic is just not designed for much more than acceptable speaking voice quality, and does not have the widest frequency response, or sound pressure handling capacity that would be preferred...A still photo of the radio was used since I am having problems with recording video at the moment, and you can see the very bottom of the GE 7-2606A Pocket radio sitting on top of this Panasonic radio.

I remember this model well. As a high school kid, I (being a geek nerd) had a job repairing stereos, audio systems, reel to reel recorders, etc for Panasonic & Sony -- and I saw this one occasionally. Nice radio.

This was my grandma/grandpa Hrdlichka's radio, and I remember them playing it when I would stay overnight at their house as a young kid, I would hear it playing while grandma was preparing breakfast, and I still remember a gas station radio commercial in the early 70's for "Super America" gas stations on this radio while I was still in bed listening to grandma making breakfast...Friends, Lloyd.
