damaging people who destroyed natives then grew fat and rich on their 'abondoned' land--what's so proud of this heritage?? Let us free ourselves from damaging veils of history and look at things as they are. Read "People's History of U.S> by H. Zinn. The state of Mass. needs to apologize to native peoples for their heinous history.

The English Puritans created a prosperous society in New England. Unforunatelly, they were just to liberal. So, it is no wonder that their descendants let Irish,Italian and Jewish immigrants take over New England.
