Channel 6's first mistake was thinking that UCLA's slang dictionary was worth reporting on. Their second mistake was leaving John Knicely in charge (sorry John.) Or maybe he was just making a clever point. Doubtful. What we have here is failure to communicate.

  • Ten minutes of non-stop FAIL. Plus, your hour-by-hour FAILcast. This is 6 News, Live At FAIL.

Jeez, that must've hurt. On the other hand, using a WIN touchscreen to broadcast the story and the mistyped super... probably not John's fault, it's in the prompter and it's also on the screen, and anchors do read right off the damn thing.

  • I suppose it's possible that whoever wrote John's copy that day has an elaborate plan to destroy him. I blame Veronica Corningstone.

  • If anything surpasses the popularity of my video of Chase Daniel eating his own boogers on national television, I'd be pretty fucking surprised.

  • And yes, that is a hefty indictment on society and myself, mostly the latter.
