First Disgaea game ever played = Disgaea 4

The first game was great, because of the unique characters and game play. The second game you were really playing an overpowered demon raised as a human. It totally threw you off. To my sister, that was a huge turn off untill she found out he was a good guy, but was not human! The third game kinda felt like if Laharal had a badass nerdy friend, Mao would fit in rather well. Have not played the game. I will one day. - w-

I remembered getting bit bored with watching Rozalin and Adell storyline - then Etna came and got fun, then Laharl came and it got awesome

@LordArion201 yes you will, disgaea 2 is good too, besides you get your ass whiped out by laharl there before rozalin unleashes her true power

@LordArion201 I disagree, I felt it ended at disgaea 3, that game couldnt go 10 seconds without a joke, I say disgaea 1 was best but disgaea 2 still felt at home. Then the Bullsh*t came.

lol, Disgaea 2 & 3 rly do feel like parodies...i disliked how NIS changed the main characters, becuz the ones from their 1st "Disgaea" rly grow onto u, then all of a sudden, NIS goes "PSYCHE, LAHARL'S NOT THE MAIN CHAR, INSTED, UR GONNA PLAY AS A (sarcastically) "BADASS" (end sarcasm) OVERORD, & NERDY LAHARL-IMPERSONATOR" =.= ...i'ma huge Disgaea(1) fan, & i always will be--screwy Disgaea 2 & 3, one is legit. (*i'll prolly get flamed for that, heh)

This is from the second game. It is awesome, especially during Laharl sequences. It makes me feel like I'm playing a sequel to something, because of the antiquated feel of the 8-bit music, instead of a parody of the first game, which was what the second game felt more like. :P
