McGrath also talks about his early career, including his appearance as a featured singer on Mitch Miller's series "Sing Along with Mitch".

  • Watching this, there are definitely (positive) comparisons to Mr. Rogers. Not sure if they knew each other in real life. I think Fred Rogers is of Irish ancestry (McFeeley is an Irish name) so maybe that's why. Did I mention I LOVE the Irish?

  • Jim was the heart of the show where as Bob was the heart of the human part of the cast... I was a big fan of his as a little girl.. Even when I felt under the weather at SS time at school I watched it from a cot in the back of the room.. When he came onsceen an instant smile would cross my face...

  • Bob McGrath sang the theme to the movie "Mondo Cane" which was titled "More"

  • Suprised Bob didn't know on Henson prior to SS considering he was on Ed Sullivan and other variety shows.
