24-7 Prayer Documentary

A documentary, originally made as part of a university dissertation, shedding a little light on the humble beginnings and current (2006) goings-on of '24-7 Prayer'.

On a side note, the story behind the filming of the documentary is fairly epic. The two student film-makers, Tom & Jim (the latter being a member of Revelation Church) found themselves using 24-7 prayer as the subject for their dissertation through a series of amazing 'coincidences' . Following many further 'coincidences' Tom found himself so impacted by the prayer room goings-on (combined with 'Alpha' and a little book called Purpose Driven Life bought by Jim) he decided to become a Christian, pretty much while on shoot. The last two scenes you see are of the moment Tom becomes a Christian, and the wonderful aftermath...

AWESOME story. Quick question, what was your degree/dissertation on?

The degree was in media studies. We were allowed to choose pretty much whatever subject we wanted for the dissertation, and this was my current church. It was actually our lecturer that had the idea to do this when i mentioned it in passing
