yes, it is safe. Common sense measures such as not inhaling the lye and working in a well ventilated area apply. =)

if its natural or organic soup why the lye if its really toxic.. explain please unless ur making conventional soap??? :o

I'm not sure what you mean by "conventional soap." This is the soapmaking method that has been used for centuries. Lye is extremely toxic, but if soap is made correctly, there is no lye in the soap. Please see our video "The Chemistry of Soapmaking" for an explanation. You cannot make soap without lye.

also what do you think about making Soap with Pure 1000% clean Distilled Water instead Purified? i dont want Sodium Fluoride in my Soap.. =/

Distilled or bottled water from a good source are best. Some tap water contains minerals that can do weird things in soap. Usually, these contaminants wind up floating and forming a "skin" at the top of the lye/water mixture, so you'll likely know they are there.
