Maxine Waters says she favors Socialism and the Government running all business

Congresswoman Maxine Waters slips and says she is in favor of Socialism. She then tries to talk her way out of her statement, but just ends up digging a bigger hole.

The Irony is that right now we are in two wars that are unpaid for, something that would even bother past republican presidents, yet the GOP candidates are vowing to go to war and not pay for it. Look folks, the left aren't radical, Socialism represents the good things even conservatives enjoy. public highways parks. libraries ect.ect. Whats wrong is the idea that Wall Street get basically the right to rule the roost. and that we build roads in bridges in other countries we invade. not here.

There is no excuse for this comment no matter how you white wash it. It is about government control. Ask yourself: "Who is the government that is supposed to be doing the controlling?" And then ask it again.

I just heard the whole quote in context. She's talking about OIL companies only and in specific situations. Out of context it looks like she's a Communist who wants to nationalize everything, but in context it's a threat to a specific oil executive.
