Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-20) on the House floor about how Republicans are raising taxes on middle class families by refusing to take an up-or-down vote to extend the payroll tax cut.
Something wrong with her mention of the single mother & the letter in which she says the mother was unemployed for a 'couple' of months
As a result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act passed by Congress in February 2009, many unemployed people can receive up to 99 weeks of unemployment benefits; this depends on "State" legislation and regulations
You tell them! I am getting tired of this also of seeing people living in their cars or living in the streets with their children. The Republicans in the House and Senate don't think it could happen to them, but it could. Maybe you should suggest that they live the life of a middle class person for a time or even a poor one to see how they would conduct their lives and live within their means without the help of their bank accounts.
Debbie Blabermouth Schultz, thank for increasing America's debt.
