This is the 4th year my son will have a steer for a 4-H project. We have been able to keep it at our friends place this last 3 years but things have changed. So we found another place to keep it but there isn't a shelter for the steers to get them out of the weather. Therefore I had to build this shelter. And another wrinkle is the shelter has to portable as the steers will be going from one paddock to another as the year goes on.
@rwb1955 Thanks. I guess we will see as the year goes. He doesn't have his steer yet. He's heading to Regina, Saskatchewan this weekend to hopefully get one. There are local steers around where we live but if you want a good show steer you have to go else where to get it.

@gangesexcavating Thanks. It's what i do for a living. Fabricate, build, weld, fix stuff. I guess that goes for the way i see how you operate. Way better then i do. Thanks again.

I think you did a great job and your skills are better than mine when it comes to that stuff. Good work and thumbs up

@WesternStar4900SA Thanks for your comment. I hope it works out for my son's steer. Hopefully i will have it finished in the next week. Been busy at my full time job so my time is limited to working on it.
