==============================================
Scenes are filmed from a "cable car" on Market Street in San Francisco, California.
It's amazing the amount of cars that already existed at that time.
And how many indiscretions are committed, under the noses of police (probably had not even traffic laws ...)!!
The traffic was chaotic with the living, not very smooth, among pedestrians, cars, bikes, buggies, automobiles, cable car, tram, etc..
Notice that the streetcars to cross the street already had electric traction!
On the street, there is a building that is there today because it is the passenger terminal of the Bay of San Francisco.
The film, after much debate, was traced, and the date of its production: It is a film produced on April 14, 1906, four days before the big earthquake that ended the city of San Francisco. The film was shipped to New York, a train, to be processed, there have been spared that tragedy.
