Id never heard of a Fisher before. Im from the UK. Now I understand they are a mustelid. Why do you trap them?

hey nice catch! just some constructive critisism but the set works a little better if there isn't such a vertical angle on the pole. like if it was a 35-4o degree angle would be better that was like at a 20 give or take

That's a steep pole...you find it is best on that angle?

@79Testo I have read to make the pole steep, not sure if that to steep or not. last fall was the first time i tried these sets. I made 2 of these and had them set for about 2 weeks. I caught just the 1 fisher with it so it must work ok. I used a chunk of beaver meat and some long distant lure called fisher getter. I 'm gonna try a few diff angles this year. I put my set in some pines in a large chunk of woods about 150 yards from the road but i was able to drive my truck within 50 yards!

@TheBubbagump101 i cut about an 8 to 10 foot pole no bigger than 5 inches in diameter and leaned it against a stump so it was almost vertical and not near any other branches so the fisher could not get at bait from the top. Then between 4 and 5 feet of ground i used a killer clip to fasten my 220 too. bait goes as close to trap as it can without the trap being able to hit it. I used 2 big pieces of beaver meat with some long distance lure! This was my first one and hope it works for you!
