I totally agree Stephen... it can be a gift... I would not give it up for anything, it's why I can paint I wrote a book too 120,000 words { its been used in a play this year} but I could only do it because we got a computer in 1997, then the trapped words just poured from my fingers never my mouth. I cannot read aloud at all and I cannot to this day read new words phonetically. Once someone or the computer pronounces them for me I can remember new words after repeated them. Cheers Ann

I'm dysgraphic, and it had affected me for most of my life. I'm a creative person, I enjoy writing, but before I learned touch typing, I was terrible at that. I have the creativity, but I can't handle a pen very well. Me and Cannell both have learning disabilities that affect writing, yet we both write. He did well for himself. Good job!

it's so anoying trying to spell something but having no idea what it is. you try googleing it but nothing, you try the dictionary but nothing, you try rapping your brains which has seen the f*cking word dozens of times, but nothing. so you end up calling a trusted one and ask them for the spelling.Dyslexia is frustrating to say the least.

hah, i didnt know that it was my dyslexia that made me allways picture in my head that i crash my car into the drivers side of a car when i 'orient' my self of whats left and right^^

I write with my right. Getting my b's and d's mixed up, "bed" which looks like a bed. Remebering stuff, link it up with things I already know and make a journey in my head to remember it. Remember my teacher teaching me those things :).

i am dyslexic, i am at my last year of b-tech enginering (information tech) having a very good mark about 67%,it is realy working 1000...% and getting that 67% for me

1)i have problum of taking number in wrong order.

2)spelling mistack.

3)taking long time to study but problum of writing it in paper.

some trick that i use is

1)draw picture if it is there in the answer. 2)use the words that u know for writiing.

3)try to writ each answer with out seeing befor exam(while preparation).
