This video shows the Multi Line Refreshable Braille Display being used as an Braille Embosser.
The latching of the pins in the elevated or recessed positions permit this type of function. Once latched,
the pins of the display will retain their state - until reset or refreshed, which means power is consumed by the actuators only during a refresh cycle. No holding current is needed to maintain the pins in their actuated positions.

Thanks for the comments! I do have another video posted- 'working and construction'. That should give you some idea. I am in the process of making a commercial version. If you still want more explanations -I will try!
