shes quite amazing! i have just begun to really appreciate opera after learning an italian arts songs, which i will perform at a recital. I do believe that she does sound better when singing in a more classical style...yet I love her voice no matter what she sings :)

She butchered the song!

Wow! Side of her I have never seen before!! I love it!!

Renee Fleming has never hit a bad note no matter what she is singing--she just sounds different singing this type song and I love her no mater what she sings.

@Idagnefoki I highly doubt she's embarrassed by an emotionally riveting, note-perfect delivery of a classic. I for one am grateful she doesn't limit herself to a single genre.
-
sorry sweety, but you should go back to classical - that's where I adore you. You are embarasing yourself

Renee started in Jazz. For someone to say she is embarrasing herself by singing this beautiful song obviously shows that person is lacking in the knowledge and understanding of Renee and her history. Being able to sing in this style is just one of the qualities that makes her classical singing so great. I would say to Idagnefoki get over your self and your arrogance and really listen with an open ear to a great singer making all kinds of music her own! I bet you can't do it.
