  • That must impress alot of girls.

  • Try do that test again when the car is at its 1, 2 , 3...birthday.

Don't get me wrong, I would prefer that diesel engine over the gasoline ones SUBARU now makes. Too bad I am living in the U.S. and the diesel engine is NOT here, yet.

  • too bad, we don't have the diesel engine in canada:(

  • @HexoFire I'm sick and tired of waiting for Subaru to bring the diesel engines to the U.S.A.(I've been waiting since late 2009!)

So, I tested the VW Jetta SportWagen 2.0L TDI with the 6-speed DSG and sunroof. Cost? About US$29000.

  • @zhammmy apparently the americain mentality is all about gasoline

Go in the europe and every cars are diesel

even some fucking ford focus are diesel in europe

Meanwhile we are stuck with F-350 gasoline

  • @mar1lab Ask your subaru dealer to do an upgrade of engine settings. My Subaru Outback boxer diesel had a very sensitive cluch when i buy it, the month after i discuss about this with my subaru dealer and they do like an upgrade and now it's very easy to drive than it was before !

  • Impressive!

  • I have Forester 2.0 MY'10. The engine is great - but then I am not so happy about manual gearbox (not very precise) and clutch (needs to be handled really carefully). Also DPF filter seriously limits performance. So I have mixed feelings about this car - some parts are really great - others - really average.

    Greetings from Poland

  • subaru should brind this diesel to philippines perfect no vibration

  • subaru should brind this diesel to philippines

  • U may dislike these diesel engines but unless you have driven one then your 'opinions' are worthless, i have driven a friends and it was very smooth running and quiet for a diesel and reasonably quick. The petrol engine is good but i prefer diesel myself as they will last alot longer.

  • lol that's not a diesel engine... i got an '82 GM Six-Two... That's a diesel engine... 0 to 60 in 5.2 days... The smooth finesse of a washing machine on spin cycle with an unbalanced load... and enough torque to pull the great wall of china 300 years into the past... lol :P

It's cars like this one that make me hate US Emissions Laws...
