  • What do you mean by voluntary?

  • Volunteers are plants that grew but I didn't actually plant them. They are surprises.

  • Looks like an awesome project!..You are definately inspiring me to act and get my butt in gear and build my own garden.

  • Aww.. that is so cool! Good for you. I am learning so much!

  • @Inspire2Act Yes. Little boys in the family love having permission to pee on the compost! It is the only place outside they are allowed to pee!

  • Donate your excess squash (or any produce) to local food pantry/or Second Harvest. I make lots of pumpkin/Squash Soup and freeze it. Sometimes save the seeds, to give away, sometimes soak, then roast, the seeds.

  • I've been watering with my urine for 2 years. I used it on grass at an investment property I did landscaping on, to fix the non-green spots. Cat and dog urine makes "stains" of dying grass. Mine greened it right up. The power of raw-veganism! lol

  • OK buddy, bust out your garden videos!! You are full of great suggestions. I am sure you have an amamzing one....bring it. Thanks again for all your advice!

  • Ok, I confess, I've used urine and it totally worked. however, you won't catch me peeing in the garden on video. You are bad! LOL. I realized my plants weren't growing because I didn't have enough nitrogen in the soil. That fixed it. Hey, I am on a very clean diet, I think it is fine!I use Sea Agriculture for minerals also. I do live near horses, but almost every owner sprays for flies in that area so it wouldn't be very organic.
