2008 Great Texas GI Joe Show

America's favorite fighting man, action figure G.I. Joe, gets a flag raised in his honor at The Great Texas G.I. Joe Show IV.

This G.I. Joe collectibles convention takes place Saturday and Sunday, March 15th and 16th at the Arlington Convention Center in Arlington. www.greattexasgijoeshow.com

Enthusiasts from all over the United States come to salute Joe and celebrate the legacy. More than 70 dealer tables will be offering Joe-related merchandise, including figures and accessories from all eras.

Collectors track down rare pieces, and uncover an arsenal of fun and fascinating toys. These include vintage and new G.I. Joe, Sideshow Toys, 21st Century, Dragon and much more.

Watch as fans display their own creations in the various action figure customizing contests. Step up to the Tank Rodeo and plow a radio-controlled Stuart Tank through an obstacle course.

And don't forget the free stuff! The first 50 people through the door score a Dragon in Dreams 2008 Calendar featuring amazing action figure photography. Feeling lucky? You might walk away with a host of other prizes including G.I. Joe figures and sets.
