Dave, does the home screen/menu screen on the HTC Desire flip to landscape when turned on its side or does it only do that when browsing and texting?

I have my HTC desire for a week now, a full charge barely takes me through the day! That is one of the biggest disappointments along with the very bad sound quality, both recording or playback. Everything else about this phone is GREAT! If it wasn't for the bad sound quality and battery life it would've been perfect!

Dave, believe it or not, this was one of the videos that convinced me to buy a HTC Desire in November 2011, great review! The only thing that annoys me about this phone for everyday use is battery life and low internal storage, but anyway awesome review, keep up the great work.

I like this model best as opposed to its younger brothers that followed, this has manual physical buttons to press etc
