I have suffered from reflux all my life and know first hand how painful it can be. But I did not see her offer the child anything that is easy on a delicate stomach. Anywhere in this did they see a dietician who maybe could have found something that would have been easier on his tummy? Sugar, processed foods, fat, all encourge yeast which makes the acid worse.

The mother should stop trying to forcing her son to eat new things. She will make mealtime to an even bigger thin. And when he do try some jam she shold tell him that he was really good for trying it. The best thing woulld be to try to make it fun for him.
