great video - that assembly of musicians was Elton's best band and this film documents and captures them at the absolute pinnacle of their brilliance - RIP Dee you are sorely missed

@michaelp3138 Yes, Dee truly is missed. One of the very best bass players in music history.

I agree. I was a very young teenager at the time this documentary aired and a die-hard Elton John fanatic. I hated John Reid even then. I think he helped to derail Elton in many ways! Yes, the epitome of the word leech!!!

@77edster Just look what he did to Ray Williams. EJ is a self centered piece of shit with a severe personality disorder without question.

@alreltney see him closing his eyes and seeing $....what money on it being him who split up the original band. they were on royalties so earning too much for his liking?
-
interesting to hear a mix before the backing vocals went on it!

someone should have shot that fag John Reid back then when they had the chance to dump his ass outside in the fields somewhere. What a fucking useless, leech fag.

Where did you take this video?

@groovycleaner Is this the documentary that Brian Forbes did? Elton John says Goodbye to Norma Jean and Other Things.
