Former Atheist Alister McGrath discusses Dawkins (part1)

Former Atheist Alister McGrath responds to Richard Dawkins, and his book 'The God Delusion'.

Although McGrath repects the scientific work of Dawkins, he is also highly critical of Dawkins' view on Religion,citing him as "embarrassingly ignorant of Christian theology".


Referring to 'The God Delusion' McGrath asks - ''Why is it necessary to write a 400 page book, explaining that God is a delusion, if this is not self-evidently true?'

Is Religion really a virus?

Alister McGrath is a Professor of Historical Theology, and has also majored in mathematics, chemistry (molecular biophysics) and physics.
