  • This didn't help me at all, I can do multiphonics perfectly on clarinet, but still can't get it on sax.

  • @789TheBeatles What happens when you try the E-flat fingering with the G key lifted? If you aren't getting a multiphonic, what pitch comes out?

  • @Popesax A slightly flat Low A.

  • @789TheBeatles You are voicing too low. Try starting with the octave key, to get the B-flat above the staff. Then release the octave key and try to add the flattened lower A.

  • @Popesax That worked, thank you so much.

  • @789TheBeatles Great! Remember to experiment with different amounts of embouchure pressure and air speed. Good luck!

  • This was EXTREMELY useful, thank you so much for putting this up, now I can add a little more spice to my solos.

  • i am trying to learn all the different fingerings for multiphonics on alto saz and i found a chart, but no advice on how to do it. Any wisdom you can pass on?

  • @richardmatchett The concepts are the same, but the specific pitches for fingerings can be different, due to the different proportions of the alto. The same holds true for all the different saxophones.

  • Is this the same for alto saxophone?
